NESA STEM Scholarship

The NESA STEM scholarship is awarded to one Eagle Scout annually who plans to major in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field (STEM).

STEM applicants must complete ALL required questions on the General Application in order to access the STEM scholarship questions (required questions are indicated by a red asterisk – this includes the signature line at the bottom of the application). Once the General Application is complete, STEM questions will be accessible by hovering over the “Opportunities” tab above and clicking on “RECOMMENDED”. A red “APPLY” button will appear in the “Actions” column.

Students must apply during their senior year of high school if the Eagle board of review is held on or before October 31, 2017.

EXCEPTION: Eagle Scouts currently in their senior year of high school who will not pass the Eagle Scout board of review by October 31, 2017 may apply during the next scholarship cycle between August 1, 2018 – October 31, 2018 even though you may already be attending college at that time. NESA scholarships are not available to students attending community colleges or any of the U.S. military academies because at these military academies, expenses covered by the NESA scholarships are already paid by the U.S. government.

Scholarship applicants must be members of the National Eagle Scout Association or submit a NESA membership application by October 31, 2017 to be eligible for an award.
